Refund and Returns Policy
Refund and Returns Policy
Effective Date: 13 July 2026
At The Liverpool Print Company, we aim to provide high-quality printed and
personalised products.
Many of our products are made specifically to a customer's requirements.
As a result, different cancellation and return rules may apply to
personalised and non-personalised products.
Nothing in this Refund and Returns Policy affects your statutory rights.
1. Custom and Personalised Products
Many products supplied by The Liverpool Print Company are made to the
customer's specifications or are clearly personalised.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Business cards
- Flyers
- Leaflets
- Stickers
- Banners
- Flags
- Posters
- Clothing and apparel
- Promotional products
- Personalised merchandise
- Bespoke printed products
- Products incorporating customer-supplied artwork
- Products containing names, photographs, dates, logos or other personalised information
Where permitted by law, personalised or bespoke products cannot be returned
or cancelled simply because you have changed your mind.
Once production has begun, we may also be unable to cancel an order where
the product has been made specifically to your requirements.
2. Artwork and Proof Approval
Where we provide an artwork proof, customers are responsible for checking
the proof carefully before approving it for production.
Customers should check all:
- Spelling
- Names
- Dates
- Telephone numbers
- Addresses
- Colours
- Images
- Logos
- Layouts
- Other information
Once artwork has been approved, we cannot normally accept responsibility
for errors that were clearly present in the artwork approved by the
customer.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an error is caused by us
or where the product supplied does not conform to the contract.
3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives:
- Damaged
- Faulty
- Defective
- Incorrect
- With missing items
- Different from the agreed specification
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, please provide photographs of the product, packaging and
any relevant damage or defect.
We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, provide a repair,
replacement, reprint, price reduction or refund in accordance with your
legal rights.
4. Reporting Problems
We ask customers to contact us promptly after receiving an order if they
identify damage, defects, missing items or an incorrect product.
For practical reasons, we ask that obvious problems are reported within
7 days of delivery wherever possible so that we can
investigate them quickly.
This does not remove, restrict or replace any statutory
rights you may have.
5. Statutory Consumer Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory rights remain
unaffected.
Goods supplied to consumers must comply with applicable legal requirements,
including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose
where applicable.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be
excluded or limited.
6. Non-Personalised Products
For standard, non-personalised products purchased online, you may have a
statutory right to cancel your order within the applicable cancellation
period.
Where a cancellation right applies, we will provide the relevant
information required by law.
Certain goods and services are excluded from cancellation rights under
applicable legislation.
7. Personalised and Bespoke Products
Consumer cancellation rights for online purchases contain exceptions for
certain goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are
clearly personalised.
Where such an exception applies, the normal statutory cancellation right
does not apply.
This may include products printed with:
- Customer artwork
- Customer photographs
- Names
- Dates
- Logos
- Personal messages
- Bespoke designs
- Other customer-specific information
8. Cancellation Before Production
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to accommodate cancellation requests where production has not
started.
If production, artwork preparation, material purchasing or other work has
already taken place, we may be unable to cancel the order where permitted
by law.
9. Refunds
Where a refund is agreed or required by law, we will normally refund the
amount paid using the original payment method.
Refund times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise fail to meet
applicable legal requirements, we will deal with the matter in accordance
with your statutory rights.
10. Delivery Problems
If an order is lost, damaged or delayed during delivery, please contact us
so that we can investigate the matter with the delivery provider.
Where we are responsible for delivery under the contract, we will comply
with applicable legal requirements.
11. Business Customers
Where you purchase from us wholly or mainly for business purposes,
different contractual and legal rules may apply.
Certain consumer cancellation and statutory protections may not apply to
business-to-business transactions.
The applicable quotation, order confirmation, agreed terms and these terms
will govern the relevant business transaction.
